School Ski Operator Fraud Investigation

School ski operator Skiing Europe is under police investigation for fraud following a number of cancelled ski trips earlier this year. Skiing Europe, operated by Chris Reynard, the former Director of Hyde House Activity Centre and a former Chairman of the British Activity Holiday Association, is being investigated by Devon and Cornwall Police following a complaint of "alleged fraud". A police spokesman said: "The investigation is at an early stage and officers are also liaising with other forces throughout the country as well as trading standards." Schools affected by last minute changes and cancellations included Tavistock College, Tonbridge Grammar School, Reading School, St Helena School, Beechwood Park School, Mount Grace School and Chinthurst School.
