Leeds Met Launch MSc In Outdoor & Aventurous Activities

Leeds Metropolitan University have launched a new post graduate course in response to the significant growth of outdoor and adventurous activities. The MSc Outdoor and Adventurous Activities provides an opportunity to acquire academic knowledge, leadership and personal development through the outdoors with applications to a range of personal and organisational settings. Personal development, industry knowledge and preparation for outdoor and adventurous activities provide three clear themes of study. The course aims to produce critical thinkers able to recognise and adopt best practice in the outdoors for personal and/or professional development. The course draws on 25 years of teaching outdoor and adventurous activity modules at Leeds Metropolitan University and establishes a clear outdoor pathway through to post graduate study.
