2012 Canoe Slalom Venue takes shape

New aerial photos released by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) show that the building of the Canoe Slalom Venue for the 2012 is making great progress. The ODA started construction work on the Broxbourne venue in July 2009 and training and testing is scheduled to take place in 2010-2011, with some public use in 2011. ODA Chairman John Armitt said: "We are on track to complete the White Water Canoe Centre later this year, helping deliver an early sporting legacy for the East of England region well before the Games in 2012."
